David Kennedy

With Nicky, my wife of 56 years, I have been a resident in South Stoke for the last 19 years. As a Stoker I have been on the parish council (twice), chair of the amenities charity, a school governor and a director of the shop board. My career was in the engineering and construction of world scale projects, latterly I have worked as a consultant to an expert witness. As a keen vegetable gardener I have learned to share my efforts and rewards with the wonderful wildlife of South Stoke

I have lived in South Stoke since 1996.  I am a semi retired solicitor and currently chair a small law firm. With my wife Lou we breed alpacas at the northern end village. This is my second stint as a parish councillor. I have lived within sight of the Thames in London and then Oxfordshire since 1984. I used to row competitively but now feed animals and cut grass.
