The South Stoke Parish Newsletter is delivered to every household in the parish each month. The editorial policy is to try to include all contributions in their original "voice" provided that they have relevance to the community. Copy is normally required 7 to 10 days before the end of the month, around the 20th. We then aim to get the newsletter printed and delivered by the start of the month of issue. After delivery, a copy of the newsletter is placed here. Advertisements are carried but the size is limited to a maximum of a half page for each advert. Advertisers are encouraged to consider this size constraint when designing adverts to ensure that words can be easily read. Advertisements for local charities are free of charge and will be printed if space permits. Terms and conditions are available here. Classified small ads and notices for residents of the parish are carried free of charge. Advertising rates for commercial organisations are as follows: Half page adverts, landscape 13.5cm high by 19cm wide, portrait 27cm high by 9.4cm wide, £20 for one edition, £100 for 6 editions. Quarter page adverts, 13.5cm high by 9.4cm wide, cost £10 for one edition, £50 for 6 editions. We can take most normal formats for your advert from hi-definition graphics to simple word documents. We need copy by approximately the 20th of the month for inclusion in the next edition. Advertisers taking a 6 month run may change their advert provided the revised advert is provided by the copy date. All contributions are welcome. Please click here to e-mail, deliver to 9 Chapel Close, South Stoke, Reading, RG8 0JW or telephone Geoff on 01491 873342. Please always include a telephone number, and an e-mail address if possible. Photos are welcome and encouraged. Please get your articles and adverts in as early as possible.
