At first sight South Stoke appears to be a quiet little village with very little going on. However, dig beneath the surface and you will find a great deal. The Street has the most obvious business and organisations – the church, the school, the pub and Goode International offices. In the local directory you will find entries for the clubs and societies in the village as well as the raft of smaller businesses.

The parish of South Stoke is also home to a couple of farms, the administration offices of an airfield and some industrial units.
